Includes a 'coffee & port' talk on Saturday night by Daan Spijer on Medical Fraud, Medical Half-Truths and Medical Journals. Prestigious journals do not always present articles of high quality. Richard Smith, when editor of the BMJ said that "only 5% of published papers reached minimum standards of scientific soundness and clinical relevance, and in most journals the figure is less than 1%." So-called non-prestigious journals do not necessairly present articles of poor quality. Don't always believe what you read but read enough to understand whether you should believe it.
